Maine Festival of the literary authors have learned today that the popular writer / director / producer Robert Benton participate in the festival. He joined Richard Russo, David Kipen and Cathie Pelletier in the 2 hour movie fiction panel Sunday, November 5 at the Camden Opera House. It must cover the three-day festival, the panel focused on the role of the authors, screenwriters, directors and producers in the conversion of books and film scripts for success.

support as directed Kramer vs. Kramer, Nadine, in the heart, cheated anyone, and Billy Bathgate. He wrote scripts for Kramer vs. Kramer, Nobody Stupid, The Ice Harvest, Bonnie & Clyde, and heart, among others. He has collaborated on Nobody Fool and The Ice Harvest with Richard Russo, and have worked together in a drama and the many projects over the years. Robert Benton is a good friend and one of our directors are most important. His body of work is incredible, said Russo. His participation in the opening ceremony of the Maine Literary Festival to further strengthen the importance and reliability of the festival. David and Cathie brings great experience and practical importance for the panel, said Russo.
David Kipen
Literature Director at the National Arts Foundation, where he helped run the NEA Big Read initiative, designed to restore reading to its rightful role in the heart of life American lives. In 2006, Melville House published his first book, The Schreiber Theory, one of the free radical rewrite of American film history, which makes the case that writers, directors or not, is the author of their films. Previously, the book critic and editor for the San Francisco Chronicle book, David has worked as a journalist, literary and film for over fifteen years, writing for The Atlantic Monthly, The Los Angeles Times, Salon . com, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter Box Office, and World Policy Journal, among others. Cathie Pelletier The San Francisco Chronicle wrote that Cathie Pelletier exploded on the literary scene with novels of his first success, the manufacturer of the funeral. Nine novels later, Pelletier is one of the most respected authors of the country, prompting Washington Post in an ambitious call, without fear novelists. In 1998, he worked as literary titles Prepaid Doubleday million dollars for Candles on Bay Street novels, which was recently optioned for film by Hallmark Hall of Fame Productions. Cathie Pelletier is the winner of the New England Book Award for fiction, among others.
He has published seven novels under his name. As KC McKinnon has written two novels, Dancing at the Harvest Moon (now in 18 languages and a CBS television movie actress Jacqueline Bisset and Valerie Harper) and Candles on Bay Street, published in ten languages. The novel, his latest, Pelletier, Bull Run, was released in August, 2005. Pelletier has adapted the novel for a wedding in Woodstock producers George Stevens Jr. has adapted the novel his first, The Producers funeral director Doug Liman (Swingers, The Bourne Identity ,. Mr. and Mrs. Smith) The movie will start in autumn 2006.

just completed the film The Feast of Love, due in 2007, with Morgan Freeman, Greg Kinnear, Selma Blair and Billy Burke.
